You know, the Meraglim weren’t liars, what the Meraglim said they saw - they really saw. But Hashem says, I know you saw that - and every person that goes to Eretz Yisrael. He says, look, if you’re going to be looking superficial and you’re going to be seeing what style cars they have or how big the apartments are, for that we have Chutz L'aretz that we have an entire world of superficial shallow people who judge based on how much money you have and what clothing you wear and how good you look. You came to Eretz Yisrael because I need you to see things different, I need you to understand that what you see has a deeper meaning, I need you to live deep, and you’re coming to my land and you’re saying “Hey, America is better”. That was the טענה on the Meraglim and that’s the טענה on us. Yeah, America has more גשמיות than Eretz Yisrael does, but can you ever in a billion years have the intensity - have that passion, and that live force that permeates every living being in Eretz Yisrael… every stone every road every experience? And that’s what we’re looking for, we’re looking to find Hashem in our lives, in a life of meaning… Today.
