Listen here my friend, everybody knows the Gemara where Hashem takes this mountain, he puts it on top of the Jews heads and he says “If you’re not going to accept my Torah you’re going to end up squashed.” And you think to yourself “Who wants such a Torah?” I for sure don’t, and in my life - do I like everything that goes on? Do I always feel comfortable? No, and I feel miserable about it. And that’s the point of the Gemara: Realize that that’s exactly the way it’s meant to be, and that’s the technique of how we get to comprehend Torah, through going through a period where you say “No, I didn’t want to accept this”. And then later on as you struggle through your life, you come to that situation where "Achashverosh" comes in, and you sin by the "Seudos Achashverosh", and then this "Vashti" comes out, and then the "Ester" comes into the picture with the "Mordechai", and then you realize at the end of the story “Wow, thank you Hashem for giving me this Torah, these rules, these restrictions; because that’s what brings me to the inner meaning of my life.” That’s how we except Torah. Know one thing holy brother holy friend, if you’re struggling with Yiddishkeit, embrace that struggle, because that struggle will connect you to G-d and to G-d's Torah - making it into your Torah… Today.
